A Minnesota driver was taken off the road this weekend after deciding to get behind the wheel and drive drunk. The driver was arrested after numerous calls and complaints of a driver being all over the road. At one point during the traffic stop the driver attempted to escape, thankfully they weren't able to, as their blood alcohol content was measured at more than 4 times the limit.

The Chaska Police Department posted about the extremely drunk driver's arrest on Sunday.

Apparently, Reverse looks like Drive at .285%
Just before 6pm tonight, our day shift responded to a dangerous driving complaint: a vehicle was swerving across lanes, driving the wrong way, hitting curbs, and even ended up in someone's yard. Our officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver pulled over but then as the officer was in the street, reversed into the squad car. Thankfully, our officer wasn’t hurt and miraculously no one else was hurt either.
It's chilling to think about how this could have ended if we hadn’t intervened. We can only hope that had we not located her she would have made it home without hurting others.
Chaska, we're better than this. Drive sober.

In Minnesota, being convicted of driving at more than twice the legal limit of .08, can lead to the suspension of your driver's license, revocation of your license plates on that particular vehicle, as well as a hefty monetary fine, and/or jail time.
