ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Police have four people in custody stemming from an armed robbery Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called to 700 block of 14th Street South after two victims said they were robbed at gunpoint inside their townhome. Police learned that 18-year-old Aaron Carter of St. Cloud and 24-year-old Howard Welch of Minneapolis had entered the apartment, held them at gunpoint and robbed the victims of $150.

Police got a vehicle description and made a traffic stop. They arrested the driver, 19-year-old Brianca Carter of St. Cloud and Welch.

Aaron Carter was arrested during a separate traffic stop. Police found a stolen .38 caliber revolver in that car and arrested 21-year-old Benjamin Lenoir of St. Cloud for possession of a stolen firearm and carrying a pistol without a permit.

Aaron Carter, Brianca Carter and Howard Welch were jailed on aggravated robbery.

A search warrant of the getaway car turned up a stolen 9 millimeter handgun believed to be used in the robbery.

Welch faces additional charges of being a felon in possession of a handgun and possession of a stolen firearm.

The victims were not hurt.
