Polaris Sales Up 26% in 3rd Quarter

ST. CLOUD -- Polaris Industries is reporting a 26% jump in sales in the third quarter.

The Medina-based company says ATV's were up 25%, snowmobiles were up 23%, parts and accessories up 21% and Victory motorcycle sales were up a whopping 77%.

Mike Bristow of Bristow's Kawasaki and Polaris in St. Cloud says his sales have increased at about the same pace as Polaris. And, he credits the manufacturer's willingness to invest in its product lines.  Polaris developed the Rush snowmobile with its Pro-Ride suspension in 2010, and have added new models to its side-by-side ATV's.

Bristow says in the third quarter, his customers were buying across all product lines...even snowmobiles.

He says the side-by-side ATV's are becoming more popular and Victory motorcycles are taking more and more of the market share every year.
