Paynesville Woman Dies From Injuries In Three Vehicle Crash

PAYNESVILLE -- A Paynesville woman has died as a result from her injuries in a three vehicle crash.

Forty-five-year-old Char Peltz died Saturday at St. Cloud Hosptial.

Peltz was hurt when an Iowa man, 51-year-old Danny Heine, allegedly failed to stop for a stop sign and struck Petlz' vehicle at the intersection of County Road 33 and County Road 16 in Zion Township.

Peltz funeral is scheduled for Saturday at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin.

Stearns County Chief Deputy Jon Lentz says the crash is under investigation. It is unknown if charges will be filed against Heine.
