Cathedral baseball lost 8-1 to Pierz Thursday in an elimination game in Section 6-2-A. Matthew Primus went 2-4 and drove in the lone Cathedral run. Tanner Staller and John Brew were each 2-3 for the Crusaders in the loss.

ROCORI defeated Simley 8-6 Thursday night to capture the Class 3-A State Consolation Championship at Caswell Park in North Mankato. The Spartans broke the scoreless tie in the 4th inning with 2 runs and then posted 6 runs in the 6th inning to lead 8-0.

The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a stolen vehicle on the 1700 block of Oak Grove Road Southwest. The vehicle is a 2014 silver Dodge Journey with Minnesota license EAL 402. Alicia Mages from Tri-County Crime Stoppers says there was previous damage to the front and rear of the vehicle.
