Snowmobile Races With No Snow: Get Ready for the 30th Outlaw Grass Drags
You've got to see this at least once in your life — and honestly, if you've seen it once, you'll probably want to see it again.
The 30th Outlaw Grass Drags feature snowmobiles, including vintage sleds and outlaw sleds, racing on a grass/dirt track in Princeton on Aug. 23 & 24. It's a two-day event that includes a swap meet full of snowmobile parts and accessories, children's races (called Kitty Cat races), food vendors, a beer tent, and camping.
It's family-friendly fun that can get the adrenaline running and make memories they won't soon forget! General admission is $20 per day, with children ages 12 and younger free. Parking is free for daily spectators, and the gate is cash only.
This year, they are offering VIP camping near the finish line and general camping in the lower lot quiet area.
As always, event proceeds will go toward maintaining more than 500 miles of local snowmobile trails through the Rum River Trail Association. Remember, a healthy trail system doesn't just help snowmobilers — it benefits local businesses, too!
The gates open at 7 a.m. both Aug. 23 and Aug. 24, with racing starting at 4 p.m. Aug. 23 and 11 a.m. Aug. 24. You can find all the details you need at outlawgrassdrags.com.
