"It' stands 156-feet tall, 15 stories high and it's going to give breath taking views of not only the fairground but the Twins Cities as a whole. Beyond that we are excited to also have the Veranda which is a brand new shopping destination in the historic Grandstand

There will also be thirty-one new foods and five new food vendors added to this years fair. One of the new food additions is the "Bacon Up Pup" created by St. Cloud resident Pat Braun.

Dullinger says if you're a fan of music, there is something for everyone playing on each stage during the 12 day event.

"We call ourselves Minnesota's largest music festival. We have 900 free shows over the course of the fair and there is literally something for every musical taste."

With so much to see and do Dullinger adds it may be helpful to download the free State Fair app to navigate through all the popular food vendors, merchandise, musical events and more.
