LITTLE FALLS - The Morrison County Sheriff's Office is cracking down on distracted driving on Thursday.

The Morrison County Commissioners have made April 30th distraction-free driving day. The Sheriff's Office will have extra patrols looking for distracted and inattentive driving.

Sheriff Shawn Larson says distracted driving includes taking your eyes off the road, taking your hands off the wheel and taking your mind away from driving.

Texting and driving involves all three types of distraction. The Sheriff's Office is hoping to reduce risk of injury and death caused by inattentive driving.
