WAITE PARK - The Minnesota School of Business hosted its forth annual Trunk or Treat event today, a family friendly alternative trick or treating event.

Hundreds of kids and family members were at the event. Jessica Ward, a coordinator of the event says they expected well over 500 to attend this year.

"We're expecting well over 500, last year we had 500 and we're planning on a bigger event because it's not snowing" Ward said.

Trunk or treat was a free event that was open to everyone. All that was asked was that people bring in an item to donate to the food shelf.

With hundreds of costumes and a beautiful afternoon, it was a perfect day to celebrate Halloween a tad early.

"Spooktacular, if I had to pick a word it's spooktacular. Lots of little kiddos dressed up in great costumes." Ward said.
