Minnesota DNR Auctions Confiscated Hunting and Fishing Gear Online This Fall
UNDATED (WJON News) -- The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is holding two public auctions for confiscated fishing, hunting, and trapping equipment.
They will be held online on the Hiller Auction Service website on August 31st and September 28th.
A list of the equipment up for auction will be posted on the website about a month prior to the auction dates.
The bidding catalog will be available on the Hiller Auction website on August 27th and September 24th.
Online bidding begins on August 28th and on September 25th. On-site inspection at Hiller Auction Service in Zimmerman will be held on those days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The auctions will begin closing at 5:00 p.m. on August 31st and September 28th.
All equipment is sold as is and cannot be returned. Background checks are required for anyone who successfully bids on a gun.
Proceeds from the auction go to the DNR's Game and Fish Fund.
