Mildred E. Proell, 90, St. Cloud

July 15, 1925 - January 1, 2016

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 AM Wednesday, January 6th, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Cloud for Mildred E. Proell, who died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Rev. Thomas Knoblach will officiate and burial will be in Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery, Little Falls. Friends and relatives may call from 4-8 PM at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 and also one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. St. Anthony’s Parish prayers will be at 6:30 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

Mildred was born in Pierz to Joseph and Martha (Gray) Przybilla. She married Arnold Proell on June 28, 1947 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Buckman. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, St. Cloud, and a 50 year active member of the St. Anthony’s Christian Women. Mildred was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing cards and fishing. Millie was known for her wicked sense of humor. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Debra (Tom) Hannon, Bruce (Marti), Kevin (Linda) and Randal (Susan), all of St. Cloud, and Barbara of Minneapolis, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arnold on November 27, 1997; granddaughter, Lark Hannon; Seven brothers and Five sisters.
