Mareck to Leave APO Executive Director Position
ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Area Planning Organization's executive director is stepping down to take a job in the private sector.
Scott Mareck leaves his post December 20th for a job with WSB & Associates. It's a transportation planning and civil engineering firm.
Mareck has been with the APO since 1992 and has been its executive director since 2007.
Mareck says he'll be doing similar work in his new job, but for a private firm instead. He'll work at WSB's St. Cloud office four days a week and in their Twin Cities office one day per week.
The APO board will meet Thursday to name an interim director. The board will also conduct a national search for a permanent director.
