Maple Lake Man Hurt In Crash In Elk River

ELK RIVER - One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash in Elk River. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at 9:00 p.m. Monday night at the intersection of Highway 169 and Highway 10.

A car driven by 50-year-old Christopher Borgert of Maple Lake was turning south on Highway 169 when a car driven bey 49-year-old James Moore of Richfield failed to stop for a red light.

Borgert was taken to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids with non life-threatening injuries. Moore was not hurt. A passenger in Borgert's vehicle also was not hurt.
