Man Robs St. Cloud Hotel at Gunpoint

ST. CLOUD - A St. Cloud Hotel was robbed at gunpoint yesterday (Friday) afternoon.

St. Cloud police were called to the Hampton Inn & Suites in the 100 block off 37th Avenue North just after 2:30 p.m.

A man entered the lobby, and pulled out a silver semiautomatic handgun.  The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the robber ran.

He's described as a white man, about six feet tall, in his late 20's to early 30's, and between 250 and 270 pounds.  He was wearing a black hooded zippered sweatshirt, a black ski mask, blue jeans, and a black leather glove on his left hand.
