Man Arrested for Santiago Burglary Implicated in Similar Crimes Around Minnesota

SANTIAGO TOWNSHIP -A man arrested after allegedly burglarizing the Santiago Country Store has been found responsible for a string of similar crimes.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at about 4 a.m. yesterday morning.

After an investigation, investigators arrested 47 year old James Dale of Annandale, who allegedly broke in through the front door and stole numerous cartons of cigarettes.

Later in the day, authorities learned that Dale was being investigated for a burglary in the St. Cloud area, as well as for possessing a large quantity of cigarettes in the Minneapolis area.

Dale is currently being held in the Sherburne County Jail.
