Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Lorraine Delores Feia, age 86 of Holdingford will take place at 11AM, Monday, July 14, 2014 at All Saints Catholic Church-St. Hedwig in Holdingford. Father David Grundman will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the mass. Lorraine died peacefully in her sleep Thursday morning at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany. There will be a visitation from 4-8PM, Sunday, July 13th at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Holdingford and again from 10-11AM Monday morning at the church. Parish prayers will take place at 6PM Sunday evening at the funeral home.

Lorraine was born July 10th 1928 to Anton and Anastasia (Kollodge) Pilarski on a farm in Holding Township. She married Cyril Feia Sr. on September 27th 1947 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church. Together they raised their seven children on the farm where Lorraine worked as a home-maker and mother. Lorraine was also active with the Holdingford High School where she worked in laundry and the kitchen. Lorraine loved the simple things in life including her jigsaw puzzles, embroidery work, and baking in her kitchen (especially her wonderful coffee cakes). She also enjoyed being outside, be it working in her gardens, blueberry picking, attending her grandkids sporting events, or simply reading books in the boat while fishing with her husband Cyril. She was an avid fan of Minnesota sports including baseball, hockey, the Husker’s. She was an active member of St. Hedwig’s church where over the years she was involved in funeral lunch committees and the Rosary Sodality.

She is survived by her children Cyril (Roseanne) Feia Jr., Holdingford; Lynn (Ervin) Warzecha, Little Falls; Leslie (Kevin) Ebnet, Albany; Myron (Judy) Feia, Avon; her daughters-in-law Eileen Feia, St. Cloud; Sharon Popp, Pierz; Debbie Feia, Avon; her 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; and her siblings Marcella Johnson, Minneapolis; Mary Ann Melcher, Minneapolis; Bernadine Seitz, Waconia; Martin (Delores) Pilarski, Avon; and Evelyn (David) Mrosla, Bowlus.

She is preceded in death by her parents Anton and Anastasia Pilarski, her husband Cyril Feia Sr. who passed in 1996, her sons Raymond, Gregory, and Kevin Feia, her brothers John, Lawrence, Raymond, Edward, Francis, and Leonard Pilarski, and her sisters Emily Edge, Rosebele Sandoval, and Eleanor Umerski.
