If you are in the market for a new vehicle and you are looking for a deal...you're in luck we now know the slowest-selling car in the US. So why does that matter when you are buying a car? Well, chances are they have plenty of them on the lot, and as the calendar creeps closer to 2025, dealers will want to unload the remaining 2024 models. So what do you think is the slowest-selling car? A Ford? Chevrolet? Fiat? All wrong. It's the Dodge Hornet.

Dodge reintroduced the Hornet name for 2024 in a compact crossover model that isn't as attractive as the price all things considered. According to CarEdge dealer inventory data from Motor Trend, "the Market Day Supply—or the number of days it would take to sell all the models available based on its current sales rate—of the Dodge Hornet is up to 428 days. Dodge has 14,596 Hornets on dealer lots, but has only moved 1,536 in the last 45 days."

A quick Google of Dodge Hornets in Minnesota shows the crossover starting at $27,499 and going all the way up to $44K.

Some of the other slowest-selling cars this year are the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Mercedes Benz's EQB, Maserati Levante, and the Lincoln Aviator.

Since we are on selling speed, what are the fastest-selling cars in the US right now? According to Motor Trend and CarEdge "the fastest sellers are, the top three spots are from Toyota: the Highlander at 23 days, RAV4 at 30, and Camry at 31 days worth of inventory."
