Long Prairie Boy Hurt When Snowmobile Collides With Semi
LONG PRAIRIE - A 15-year-old Long Prairie boy suffered only minor injuries after the snowmobile he was driving collided with a semi.
The Todd County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened at about 2:00 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) on County Road 33.
Hunter Cavellero jumped an embankment with his snowmobile, when he lost control and slid onto the road. Cavellero struck the side of a passing semi. He was taken to Long Prairie Hospital by family members and was treated and released.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
The snowmobile is a total loss. The semi had moderate damage.
