LeRoy Dehn, age 89, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He was born on July 30, 1925 in Dayton, MN the son of Theodore and Eleanor (Barthel) Dehn.

LeRoy attended country school in Dayton then attended high school in Anoka. He married Norene Lahn on May 4, 1950 in Dayton. The couple began dairy farming in Dayton where they raised their family on the farm until moving to Princeton in 1962 when they purchased another Dairy Farm on the Northwest end of town. Norene and LeRoy divorced following LeRoy’s retirement in 1992 at which time he began his hobby of woodworking; often making wooden craft toys for children. He also enjoyed traveling during his retirement. Faith and family were most important in LeRoy’s life and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

LeRoy is survived by his children, Milton (Paula) Dehn of Stoddard, WI, Arlen (Florence) Dehn of Princeton, Larry (Karrie) Dehn of Oak Park, Dennis (Jackie Slayton) Dehn of Princeton; siblings, Norbert (Hellen) Dehn of Albany, Dolores (Alex) Demars of Buffalo, Helen (Gordie) Bongarrts of Hanover, James (Bernie) Dehn of Minneapolis, Rita Pouiliot of Loretto, Ron (Marie) Dehn of Rockford, Marie Picotte of Maple Grove; 12 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Eloise; siblings, Harold, Gordy, and Leora.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish – North Campus Princeton with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday, May 6 at Christ Our Light Catholic Parish – North Campus Princeton. Interment will take place in St. Edwards Catholic Cemetery, Princeton.

Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton.
