The St. John's University football team earned a conference record 34th MIAC title with a shutout win over Hamline University on Saturday.

The Johnnies scored 28 in the first, 21 in the second, 14 in the third, and 7 in the fourth on their way to a 70-0 win over the Pipers.

Jackson Erdmann completed 15 of 23 for 256 yards and three touchdowns.

Dylan Cerney had 11 carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns, Kenneth Udoibok had five carries for 58 yards and two touchdowns, and Henry Trost had two carries for 14 yards and two touchdowns.

Ravi Alston had seven receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown, T.J. Hodge had four receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown, and Kai Barber added one catch for 17 yards and a touchdown.

The Johnnies defense earned five sacks and caught two interceptions in the win.

The Johnnies improve to 8-1 and 7-1 MIAC. They will close out the regular season with a non-conference game against Rose-Hulman on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
