Jodi Lyn Huntley, age 43, of Andover, MN, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at her home.

Jodi was born on March 16, 1973 in Shakopee, MN the daughter of Kenneth and Debra (Smith) Huntley. She grew up in Ogilvie and Mora, MN and graduated high school in Mora, the class of 1991. She then attended the University of Minnesota in Duluth. Jodi worked for the cities of Lexington and Mounds View before her current position as a legal secretary for the Public Defender’s Office of Anoka. 4-H has always been important in her life from her childhood and also passing that on to her sons as well. She loved horses and enjoyed participating in Western Pleasure horsemanship. Jodi enjoyed scrapbooking, getting her nails and hair done and was always sporting her bling. She would do anything for her sons. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Levi, Colter and Hunter Salmonson; fiancé Kevin Walgren and his son Jacob Walgren; former husband Jade Salmonson; parents, Kenneth and Debra Huntley; sister Danyel Huntley (significant other Tom Broquist); grandmothers Dorothy Huntley and Joan Libor; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Russell Huntley, Henry Huntley and Melvin Smith.

A Celebration of Jodi’s Life will be held at 4PM on Thursday, November 3, at New Life Church in Princeton. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3PM-4PM prior to the service and will continue following the service until 8PM.
