According to Olmsted County court records, 24-year-old Madio Geovonni Callahan has also been placed on probation for five years and was given a stayed four-year prison term that he could be required to serve if he fails to successfully complete his probation. The court records also show that he has a criminal history dating back to 2022 that includes four felony theft-related convictions.

He entered into a plea agreement in April to settle two new felony cases. Callahan admitted to a felony DWI charge connected to a traffic stop in downtown Rochester in June 2025. The criminal complaint says he was pulled over after an officer observed behavior indicative of impairment, and he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of methamphetamine. Court records show that his driver's license had been revoked for four previous impaired driving incidents since 2021.

In exchange for the guilty plea to the felony DWI charge, the Olmsted County Attorney's Office agreed to dismiss charges connected to a police chase that occurred in September 2025. In that case, Callahan was charged with felony fleeing, fifth-degree drug possession, and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation inimical to public safety.
