Some More Life Coming to the 4th Floor at Mall of America

The Mall of America has now been open for 34 years, which is hard to believe, and since then, it has grown by about 200 stores.  However, the 4th floor used to have lots of bars, bar/grills and restaurants.  Now, many of those spaces have been vacant for quite awhile.

THE MALL OF AMERICA HAS GROWN IN SOME WAYS, BUT OTHERS HAS DECLINED

Even though the mega mall has grown, it has also lost several businesses that people loved when they first opened.  The 4th floor seemed to get hit with the most closures over the years.

From the Business Journal:

Most bars and nightlife venues on the fourth floor of the Mall of America closed due to a mix of corporate bankruptcies, shifting family-friendly mall strategies, smoking bans, and occasional security or conduct incidents that prompted management to alter the floor's leasing focus

VERY SOON NEW LIFE WILL BE BROUGHT BACK TO THE 4TH FLOOR OF THE MEGA MALL

Now, Mall of America has announced that a new restaurant will be occupying one of the vacant spaces on the 4th floor.

If you like sushi, you will love this addition.  Sushi has become so popular recently, so this addition will most likely be very welcome.  As stated in the post they also have a variety of individual hot pot, customizable broths + ingredients.  So it almost sounds like the concept is basically soup and sushi.  I'm on board.  Just a fun concept for a restaurant.  Why not?

There isn't an official date as of yet, other than the vague-ish next Spring.  However, they are hiring almost all positions.  So, if interested, you can reach out to the Mall of America/Fire and Wave restaurant.
