It's been a hot minute since Twin Cities-based food/restaurant reviewer Tony Cu came to Central Minnesota to try some recommended restaurants. He had stops at some of Central Minnesota's best and most iconic restaurants, and then gave honest from-the-heart reviews. Here's a look back at some of his thoughts on St. Cloud's restaurants and eateries.

Who Is Tony Cu?

Tony Cu started gaining attention online back in 2023 when he really started posting videos of himself cooking and then later tasting food from restaurants and food events around Minnesota. He’s active on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, where he shares food reviews, which are often filmed from the front seat of his car, often times with his dogs in the backseat.

Tony has changed up how he reviews recently, realizing that his reviews, whether intentional or not, can affect a business just based on his honest reviews.

Three St. Cloud Places That Tony Has Reviewed

Back in 2025, Tony stopped at one of the meccas of burritos in St. Cloud, Bravo Burritos. (We see you, Gilibertos, and appreciate your 24/7 dedication) Tony got the deluxe burrito with pork verde, and he LOVED it!

Next up was Tony's visit to the OG food stop in St. Cloud, which probably has one of the most recognizable signs in Central Minnesota, Val's Rapid Service.

Tony and his dogs really like the fries, which, if you've been to Val's, you already knew that too.

The final trip down memory lane with Tony Cu coming to St. Cloud, at least for now, was his stop at Bo Diddley's and his sampling of the Italian sandwich and the Gyro.

Whether it's the St. Joseph of St. Cloud location, Bo Diddley's serves up a great sandwich.
