Highway 22 Detour to Shift to South End of Project

RICHMOND -- Work on Highway 22 south of Richmond will shift the road closure to the south end of that roadway and direct traffic along Highway 23 and Stearns County Road 43.

Traffic had been detoured at the north end since the project got started two weeks ago.

Workers are replacing the pipes beneath the roadway and resurfacing and repairing the highway.

The nine-mile stretch of highway 22 will re-open by the end of September.
