ST. CLOUD -- A Grand Forks, North Dakota man is facing assault charges after a road rage incident in St. Cloud on Wednesday night.

The incident happened in the intersection of 4th Avenue and 13th Street South in St. Cloud shortly before 9:30 p.m.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says a 17-year-old boy from St. Cloud reported a driver from another vehicle pointed a gun at him and said he would "blaze him" after showing road rage type behavior.

On Thursday night officers found the suspect's vehicle near 9th Avenue and University Drive South. After doing a felony traffic stop, 30-year-old  Abdulaziz Yussuf admitted to the assault incident and a handgun was found in his vehicle.

Yussuf was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail, he is facing charges of 2nd Degree assault and felony threats of violence.
