Four Applicants File For Vacant Council Seat

Jake Anderson, Jeff Goerger, Garner Moffat and Greg Reigstad have all thrown their hat into the ring to fill the remaining two years on Peterson's term.

Goerger is a former council member who was defeated by Sonja Berg in the November 2008 election.   Anderson, Moffat and Reigstad have all run for office or expressed interest in an appointment in the past.

However, it's unclear if the council will consider Anderson and Moffat eligible. Anderson only had 23 signatures from registered voters, falling two short of the required 25. And, Moffat had not submitted the questionnaire compiled by the council.

The winning candidate will be appointed sometime after December 31st.
