Food Totals Down, Cash Totals Up During Jolly Trolley Food Drive

ST. CLOUD -- The totals are in from last weeks Jolly Trolley Food Drive.

The annual mobile food drive collected over 1,400 pounds of food and raised over $2,900 to help provide for local food shelves.

Metro Bus Marketing and Communications Manager Nate Ramacher says while food donations were down 1,100 pounds from last year, they did set a new record for cash donations, beating last year's total by over $300.

The food drive began in 2011 and donations will benefit the St. Cloud Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, and the Promise Neighborhood.
