Famous Poet, Visual Artist Highlight Art Event at College of St. Benedict’s

ST. JOSEPH -- Fans of poetry, film and multimedia are in for a treat at the College of Saint Benedict.

The school is hosting Poet and literary critic Susan Stewart, visual artist Ann Hamilton and filmmaker Michael Mercil for a special event starting Sunday.

Stewart and Hamiliton will present their collaborative pieces "Channel" and "Mirror," while Mercil, who is a St. John's University alum, will show a film that includes a poem from Stewart.

All three will then discuss collaboration in the arts. The event starts at 4:00 p.m. in the Alummnae Hall.
