Enrollment at SCSU Down 4 1/2 Percent

ST. CLOUD - Enrollment at St. Cloud State University is down 4 1/2 percent this year.  That's about 775 fewer students than last year.

The numbers were released today (Wednesday) by the university.

Overall there are just under 16,500 students enrolled at SCSU, making it still the largest university among the seven in the MnSCU system.

SCSU was at its largest in 2010, when they had over 18,300 students.

MnSCU says enrollment systemwide fell about 1 1/2 percent this year.
