Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Emil Dullinger, age 91 of Opole will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2014 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Father David Grundman will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery.   Emil passed away at his home in Opole on Thursday morning. There will be a visitation from 4:00-8:00 PM, Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole and again after 10:00 AM Monday at the church in Opole.  Parish prayers will be 8:00 PM Sunday evening.  Funeral arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of Holdingford.

Emil was born on November 10, 1922 to Frank and Mary (Pueringer) Dullinger in Collegeville Township, MN.  Emil married Bernadette Leither on October 24, 1951 in Cold Spring.  He farmed near St. Joseph for many years.  He retired in 1984 and moved to Opole in 1992.  Emil enjoyed tinkering in the shop, fixing and inventing things, traveling, hunting, playing cards, and listening to the Albany radio station.  He especially liked playing the game of Mill.  He was a member of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.

Emil is survived by his children, Sandra (Don) Kirchner, Sauk Rapids; Earl (Vikki) Sartell; Joyce Mrosla (Jim Janochoski), St. Joseph; Donnna (Geno) Brown, Rice; Vern (Connie), St. Joseph; Jerome (Lori), St. Cloud; Tom (Sue), St. Joseph; Dale (Sue), Sartell; Mary Kay (John) Stein, Kimball; Theresa (Paul) Revermann, St. Cloud; Roger (Rita), Sartell; and Jeanette (Duane) Christman, St. Michael; 33 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother Ben, Waite Park; sister, Alice McCaslin, Washington and sister-in-law, Loretta Dullinger, St. Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadette in 2012; infant daughter Maria; sisters, Laura Stommes, Anne Dullinger and brothers, Frank, Edmund, Matt and Claude.
