Eden Valley Man Hurt After Crash in Parking Lot

EDEN VALLEY -- An Eden Valley man was taken to the hospital after a crash late Saturday.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 20-year-old Leonard Garvick struck a power pole in the parking lot of the Church of Assumption just before 11:00 p.m.

Garvick was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, 21-year-old Andrew Swenson of Paynesville was not hurt.

No word on whether the crash caused any power outages in the area.
