Dennis Frank Rowan, age 73, St. Cloud, MN, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home in St. Cloud.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.

Dennis was born May 29, 1944 in Wadena, MN to Frank and Bernice “Bee” (Barthell) Rowan. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1969. Dennis married Colleen Lund on June 19, 1971 in Wadena, MN. He was employed in the construction industry. Dennis enjoyed fishing, woodworking and stamp collecting.

Survivors include his wife Colleen Rowan of St. Cloud, MN; sons, Christopher (Jennifer) Rowan of Watkins, MN; Brian (Jennifer) Rowan of Sartell, MN; Aaron (fiancé Amy Lauer) Rowan of St. Cloud, MN; brothers, Art (Barbara) Rowan of Long Prairie, MN; Bruce (Sharon) Rowan of Hopkins, MN; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
