Clearwater Man Injured in Snowmobile Crash

CLEARWATER - The Stearns County Sheriff's Office responded to a snowmobile crash near Clearwater at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.

The crash happened in the south ditch of County Road 145 near 195th Street East, just southwest of the Clearwater I-94 west ramp.

36-year-old Jacob Fyle from Clearwater was riding his snowmobile over an approach when his left foot slipped off the running board. When his foot hit the snow it caused him to be pulled from the snowmobile.

Fyle was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with severe leg pain by Gold Cross Ambulance.
