Chicago Man Charged With Murder In 2 Minneapolis Homicides
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities have charged a 21-year-old Chicago man with second-degree murder in the shooting deaths of two men in a parked SUV in north Minneapolis.
Brian Deshawn Morse was arrested shortly after the shooting Wednesday. The victims, 56-year-old Eddie James Pelmore and 47-year-old Odell Frazier, both died of gunshot wounds to the head.
The criminal complaint says a responding officer saw two men running from the scene and gave chase. It says he saw Morse throw a gun over a fence before he caught up to him and detained him, then noticed blood on his pants.
The complaint says Morse eventually admitted he was present during the shooting and that the blood came from the victims, but said someone else shot them.
It's not clear if Morse has an attorney.
