Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell for Charlotte G. ”Char” Bromenschenkel, age 79, of Sartell. Char passed away peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Sterling Park Healthcare Center in Waite Park with her husband at her side. Reverend Timothy Baltes will officiate. Burial will take place in the St. Francis Xavier Parish Cemetery in Sartell. Arrangements are with the Daniel Funeral Home.

Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, and after 10 a.m. on Wednesday both at the St. Francis Xavier Gathering Space in Sartell. Parish Prayers will be held at 7 p.m. followed by the St. Monica’s Christian Women rosary on Tuesday in the Gathering Space.

Char was born July 19, 1936 in St. Cloud, MN to John and Regina (Braun) Mugg. She married Jerome Bromenschenkel on May 1, 1956 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She worked as a Nurse’s Assistant at many area facilities for many years. She enjoyed gardening, dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and St. Monica’s Christian Women.

Char is survived by her husband Jerome, children Debby (Ken) Roering of Randall, Jackie (Al) Fiedler of Albany, Mike (Dorothy) of St. Cloud, Ron (Deb) of Albany, Jean (Ron) Schmit of St. Cloud, Lorri (Steve) Vouk of St. Stephen, and Jeff (Shannon) of Mankato, son-in-law Rod Stanoch of Rice, 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, sisters Laverne (Celestine) Heinen of Richmond, and Mary Noble of Minnetonka and sister-in-law Lucy Mugg of St. Cloud.

Preceding Char in death were her parents, daughter Joyce Stanoch (2013), brother Wilfred Mugg and brother-in-law Tom Noble.

Char’s family would like to thank the staff at Sterling Park HealthCare Center for the outstanding care she received.
