Candidates Forums Today For House, Senate Races

ST. CLOUD/SAUK RAPIDS - You have a couple opportunities Tuesday to hear from our local candidates running for state House and Senate.

St. Benedict's Senior Community is hosting a legislative candidate forum on long term care. It's from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. It is free and open to everyone. House and Senate candidates from Districts 13 and 14 have been invited.

Also, ARRM (The Association of Residential Resources of Minnesota) is hosting a candidate forum focused on disability issues. It's estimated that 10 percent of the population in Minnesota live with some form of disability. The forum will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Independent Lifestyles on Benton Drive in Sauk Rapids.
