Bruce Doughty, 57, Brainerd

Bruce Doughty, 57 year old resident of Brainerd died on Wednesday, November 13 at his home in Brainerd. A grave side service will be held on Friday, November 22 at 3:00 P.M. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery north of Little Falls.

Bruce W. Doughty was born on October 4, 1962 in Brainerd, MN to Daniel and Rita Rose (Shir) Doughty. He grew up and attended school in Brainerd, MN. After high school he served his country in the United States Navy in San Diego, CA. Bruce was honorably discharged and returned to Brainerd, where he worked for Cub Foods in Baxter, MN.

He enjoyed watching old westerns, and the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. Bruce liked picking agates, bowling and finding unique overlooked items on his daily walks.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Crystal Donek of Freedhem, MN and many friends and co-workers.
