Brown County Sheriff: Carbon Monoxide Likely Kills 2
SPRINGFIELD (AP) — The Brown County sheriff's office is investigating the accidental deaths of two men in a Springfield farmhouse.
Sheriff's Investigator Leah Krenz says the father of one of men called 911 at about 1:40 p.m. Friday. Upon arriving, the deputies found 30-year-old Nathan Potter and 23-year-old Adam Jensen unresponsive. They were roommates.
Krenz says they believe the men likely died from carbon monoxide poisoning, possibly from the furnace. Autopsy results are still pending.
