Bradford “Brad” Virgil Smith, 85, St. Cloud

December 31, 1930 - February 9, 2016

Funeral services will be at 11AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud for Bradford “Brad” V. Smith, 85, of St. Cloud who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the VA Health Care System in St. Cloud. Rev. Dee Pederson will officiate and burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Brad was born December 31, 1930 in Albert Lea to Virgil and Dolly (Greely) Smith. He married the love of his life, Arlene Anderson, on August 4, 1950 in Yuma, Arizona. Brad honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He worked in advertising, sales, and marketing for Country Hearth until his retirement in 1995. Brad was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golf, and politics. Brad was kind, fair, loving, strong, and profound in his words. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Arlene of St. Cloud; children, Susan Totstevin of Eden Prairie, Diane Brown of Dallas, TX, Randy (Elizabeth) Smith of Sauk Rapids; grandchildren, Joel Klopp, Joshua Galster, Keith Foster; great grandchild, Taylor Galster.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Terrance Smith.
