Boy Critically Hurt in ATV Crash in West-Central Minnesota

SPICER -- A 5-year-old boy was critically hurt when the all-terrain vehicle he was operating crashed in west-central Minnesota.

The Kandiyohi County sheriff's office was called to the crash near George Lake just after 5:00 p.m. yesterday (Saturday).

Authorities say the four-wheeler apparently left the road and overturned. The boy, from Spicer, was flown to St. Cloud Hospital, where he is in critical condition.

The name of the boy was not released.
