Boat Motor Stolen From Staples Business

STAPLES -- Authorities are asking for your help in finding the suspect(s) who stole a boat motor at a Staples business.

The incident happened between 3:30 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. Saturday at Staples Sports off of 320th Street in Scandia Valley Township.

Sheriff Shawn Larsen says the suspect(s) cut through a chain linked fence and left with a 1995 30 HP Yamaha short shaft outboard motor, which they took from a boat.

Surveillance footage shows they were driving a dark color 2000 Chevy or GMC Yukon, with large chrome rims. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Highway 10.
