ST. CLOUD -- The Better Business Bureau of Minnesota has advice for shoppers this Black Friday. According to the National Retail Federation, holiday shopping can make up about 20 to 40 percent of annual sales.

The Better Business Bureau is encouraging shoppers to research stores before they shop on Friday.

You are encouraged to compare newspaper and internet advertisements ahead of time to make sure you're actually getting a deal. The bureau also suggests that you keep all of your receipts and ask for the store's return policy.

Stores are not required to refund your money. Lastly, they ask that you have fun, be safe and stick to your holiday budget.
