NEVIS, Minn. (AP) -- Authorities have released the names of three people who died of gunshots during an incident in northern Minnesota last week.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office says 40-year-old Heidi Eve Pierce and 37-year-old Candi Cheryl Goochey, both of Akeley, died from a gunshot wound. Their deaths were ruled a homicide.

Authorities say 34-year-old Bryce Anthony Bellomo of Nevis shot and killed himself.

The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office says deputies responding to a shooting in Nevis on Thursday found a woman dead outside a home. Deputies pursued the suspect, who shot at deputies and struck one of them. The deputy survived.

The suspect was later found dead in the vehicle. Another person who was shot was also in the car.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the officer-involved shooting.
