Authorities Seek Help In Deaths Of 2 In Eastern MN

CROMWELL (AP) - Authorities are asking for the public's help in solving an apparent double murder in eastern Minnesota.

Carlton County Sheriff Kelly Lake says the bodies of an adult man and woman were found in a home in Red Clover Township, just outside Cromwell, about 3 p.m. Sunday.

Lake released new information Monday about a pickup truck that was missing from the man's home. The truck was actually discovered on fire Saturday night - a night before the bodies were found - in the Saginaw area in St. Louis County.

Lake is asking anyone who noticed anything suspicious Saturday in the Albert Road area of Saginaw to call her office at (218) 384-3236.

Authorities haven't released the names of the victims or their manner of death.
