ST. CLOUD -- A group of 10 St. Cloud community leaders will pack their bags for a cultural exchange visit to St. Cloud, France.

This is the inaugural trip to the sister city. St. Cloud Chamber of Commence President Teresa Bohnen says the trip is meant to rekindle the relationship between the two cities.

"A number of years back the sister city relationship went dormant. Mayor Dave Kleis, because he loves these kinds of things, reached out to them and we're going to be learning about their history."

The group will spend about three days touring the community and learning more about their culture.

Bohnen says what she is looking forward to the most, is learning the historic connection between the two cities.

"There is actually history related to St. Cloud, Minnesota in their community. It's very interesting and I can't wait to be a part of that."

Bohnen says they will have a chance to return the hospitality when a group from Frances comes to visit in the next year or two.
