Alcohol Suspected In Stearns Crash

ALBANY TOWNSHIP - Authorities are investigating a crash that left one man hurt in Albany Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says they received a call around 9:45 p.m. Friday about a rolled pickup with the driver stuck inside on County Road 154 near 207th Street near Albany.

When they arrived they found the pickup in the ditch rolled onto the driver's side with 65-year-old Gary Harren of Avon trapped inside. Authorities safely removed Harren from the pickup and took him to St. Cloud Hosptial for non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation but authorities believe alcohol to be a factor.
