A Fifth Candidate Files for Stearns County Open Seat

ST. CLOUD -- With just one day remaining in the filing period for an open Stearns County board of commissioners seat, a fifth person has filed their application.

Steve L. Notch of Freeport has added his name to the list of candidates looking to fill the seat formerly held by the late Don Otte.

Jeff Bertram of Paynesville, Alan Loch of Belgrade, Brad Kirckof of Sauk Centre and Dave Gamradt of Sauk Centre have also filed.

The filing period closes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

The primary election will be held on November 19th, with the general election on January 28th.

District 5 covers the western half of Stearns County.
