9-Year-Old Girl Shot in Southwestern Minnesota

LYND -- A nine-year-old girl was shot in the head in southwestern Minnesota.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says they got a call at about 1:30 p.m. Monday to a home in rural Lynd.

The girl was airlifted from the scene.

The extent of the injury and condition of the girl has not been released.
