3 Finalists Named For Sartell-St. Stephen Superintendent

SARTELL - The field of candidates to be the next superintendent in the Sartell-St. Stephen school district has been whittled down to three.

Last (Wednesday) night the school board selected Debra Lechner of Brainerd, Paul Neubauer of St. Francis, and Jeff Schwiebert of Eldridge, Iowa as the thee finalists.

Nuebauer is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at St. Francis. He will visit the district on Monday. Lechner is the Director of Teaching and Learning in Brainerd. She will be here on Wednesday. And Schweibert is the Superintendent of North Scott Community School in Eldridge, Iowa. He visits on Thursday next week.

These candidates will participate in full-day interviews, which will include several meetings.

The board plans to offer the job to one of the three in February.
